Don't Call Muslims and Christians Minorities, Will Hit You With Sandals: Seeman
Days after calling Muslims and Christians as "children of Satan", Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) coordinator Seeman has now said that they cannot be considered "minorities" based on religion, The Indian Express reported.
Speaking to reporters. Seeman claimed that Christians and Muslims are Tamils and he would respond with force if they are labelled as minorities. "If you keep calling them minorities, I will hit you with sandals," he warned.

According to Seeman, people can convert to different religions, but they cannot change their language or race. He added that the census count is conducted globally, focusing on language and race rather than religion or caste.
Days ago, the Naam Tamilar Katchi coordinator Seeman triggered a controversy after calling Christians and Muslims the 'Children of Satan'. During a protest to condemn the Manipur issue on Sunday, Seeman blamed Christians and Muslims for the violence across the country as they vote for the Congress and the DMK.
In a viral clip, Seeman is heard saying that Christians and Muslims became 'Children of Satan' for many years "while it is only us who think those who have embraced Christianity and Islam are Children of God", according to a report in The Hindu.
"They go to churches and sing 'Devaney Vareer' (Come to Us, God) but they have given the country (Tamil Nadu) to questionable people. The Christians and Muslims (in Tamil Nadu) should take responsibility for the injustices and iniquities happening here," he said.
He had also blamed the minorities for his failure in politics.
However, he is firm on his comments and said that he would readiness to dissolve his party and retire from politics if anyone could point out a single positive action taken by the DMK for the betterment of Christians and Muslims.
