Billionaire Prasanna Sankar Accuses Wife Of Affair, She Calls Him 'Pervert' As Ugly Child Custody Row Heats Up
Prasanna Sankar, a technology entrepreneur, has levelled grave accusations against his estranged wife, alleging an extramarital affair and the lodging of baseless police complaints.
These claims emerged through a series of social media posts amid their bitter and ongoing custody battle.

Prasanna Sankar alleges that his wife has wrongly accused him of rape, domestic violence, and abduction, purportedly leveraging her ties within the police to torment him. In retaliation, Sankar has accused her of kidnapping their 9-year-old son.
Who is Prasanna Sankar?
Prasanna Sankaranarayanan is an Indian-origin entrepreneur residing in Singapore. Hailing from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, he completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), where he first met his wife.
Sankar is a prominent name in the tech world, most notably as the co-founder of Rippling, a workforce management software firm currently valued at approximately £7.8 billion.
Prior to establishing Rippling, he honed his skills at major tech companies, including a stint as an intern at Google in 2006 and a later position at Microsoft Canada.
Since January 2023, Sankar has also been the founder of 0xPPL, a decentralised social network tailored for cryptocurrency communities, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Showcasing his enthusiasm for coding, Sankar notes on LinkedIn:
"I used to do a lot of programming contests: I was ranked #1 in India at TopCoder while in college, was a two-time Google Code Jam world finalist, and a two-time ACM ICPC world finalist."
Wife hits back with damning charges
Meanwhile, Dhivya Sasidhar, a US citizen, has sought help from Chennai police to retrieve her son, whom she claims was abducted by her husband. In a widely shared social media video, Dhivya has branded her husband, Prasanna Sankar (referred to here as Shashidar), a "sexual pervert."
Dhivya alleged that her husband was sacked from his job in the US after being arrested in San Francisco for soliciting prostitution. She went on to describe him as a "sexual pervert" who secretly recorded his assaults on women and claimed she had endured similar abuse.
"People say that children grow up in a similar way as their parents. My father-in-law has also indulged in sexual offences. He abused my mother-in-law and chased her away from home. Now I am in need of desperate help from Chennai police. Please help," Dhivya implored in her statement.
Appealing for support from the authorities, Dhivya alleged that her husband had threatened both her and their son over a property disagreement, which eventually forced them to relocate from Singapore to India.
"Now, I do not know what to do. US Embassy and Chennai police are helping me to find the whereabouts of my son. I do not know whether he is being threatened by my husband's PA," she added.
She stated that she only discovered her husband's criminal past in the United States after being compelled to move to Singapore two years ago.
Dhivya also claimed, "husband's father has a history of committing similar offences against women, which prevented both families from resolving their matrimonial disputes through dialogue."
The conflict arises from Prasanna's ongoing divorce from Dhivya, whom he has accused of infidelity. According to Prasanna, after he refused to pay additional millions beyond an agreed £900,000 (₹9 crore) settlement, Dhivya responded with a barrage of severe allegations.
He maintains that he has full custody rights under a Memorandum of Understanding and that his son was "voluntarily handed over."
