TN Couple Crushed To Death, 2 Kids Miraculously Escape

In a shocking video, a couple was crushed to death after a truck rammed their two-wheeler from behind. The incident occurred in Salem district in Tamil Nadu on Sunday. However, their two kids had a miraculous escape.

The deceased have been identified as Alagarasan, a 30-year-old construction worker, and his 25-year-old wife, Ilamathi. The couple, with their two and five-year-old kids, were riding a two-wheeler towards Pannavadi when the collision occurred.

The toddlers sustained only minor injuries and were being treated at a nearby hospital. The deceased couple's remains were recovered by the Karumulai Kudal Police and subsequently taken to Mettur for post-mortem.

The investigation is on. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage from the scene has surfaced, clearly indicating that the trucker driver's reckless driving took the lives of two. However, the truck driver has fled from the spot.

There was a slowing-moving traffic in Raman Nagar and Alagarasan was behind the bus. Whereas the truck was carrying paddy from Karnataka.

While crossing Raman Nagar, the traffic slowed down. Alagarasan, positioned behind a bus, came to a stop on his two-wheeler. Unfortunately, a truck transporting paddy from Karnataka hit their vehicle from behind, resulting in the deaths of Alagarasan and Ilamathi.

The CCTV footage revealed the unfolding sequence of events. The visuals depicted a speeding truck colliding with another, setting off a chain reaction. The truck that initially bore the impact lost control, colliding with another truck, and trapping a car between the two vehicles.

The force of the impact instantly crushed the car, while the truck struck the railing and overturned off the bridge.
