Rape Accused Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna To Land In Bengaluru Shortly
Rape-accused Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna will appear before the Special Investigation Team on Sunday which is probing the sex scandal involving him.
He is on the way to Bengaluru and will surrender before the SIT today, TV9 Kannada reported citing highly-placed sources.

A SIT team has been awaiting his arrival since last night at the Kempe Gowda International Airport in Bengaluru. Based on the advice given by his lawyer, the Hassan MP has decided to appear before the investigating officers today.
The officials have kept a close eye on the passengers' list arriving from Dubai, Frankfurt and Maskut, the report said. He is expected to be taken into custody once she lands in Bengaluru.
Meanwhile, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that a blue-collar notice has been issued against the Hassan MP.
Speaking to media, he said, "...HD Revanna has been arrested under a complaint of a kidnapping case, and the SIT have been doing things as per the procedure. I can't disclose more than that as even I don't have information regarding everything. Due to the seriousness of the case, we have constituted an SIT and have given full freedom to them to deliver justice. A blue-corner notice has already been issued (to Prajwal Revanna). They'll locate him wherever he is and after that, procedurally whatever is required, SIT will do that to bring him here..."
After the first phase of polling in Karnataka on April 26, Revanna had left the country even as explicit video clips allegedly involving him had started making the rounds in Hassan, following which the state government constituted the SIT to probe the alleged sex scandal involving the MP.
A case was registered at the Holenarsipura police station in Hassan district, based on a complaint by a woman who worked in Revanna's house.
The father-son duo was booked under IPC sections 354A (sexual abuse), 354D (stalking), 506 (threat) and 509 (insult caused to the modesty of a woman).
The FIR was referred to the SIT, led by B K Singh, Additional Director-General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department, formed to probe the alleged sex scandal involving Prajwal Revanna, after several explicit videos were in circulation.
The second FIR was filed against Prajwal Revanna, this time by the CID in Bengaluru on Wednesday based on a complaint by a JD(S) party worker, who alleged she was raped by Prajwal at gunpoint. He later made a video of her and blackmailed the woman saying he would make it viral if she did not fulfill his lust whenever he demanded, the complaint said.
On the other hand, the SIT has taken his father and former minister Revanna to its custody in a kidnap case.
