Prajwal Revanna To Arrive In Karnataka And Cooperate With SIT On May 31
Karnataka JDS Suspended leader and Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who fled the country after his sex tapes or obscene videos went viral and faced sexual harassment allegations, announced that he will appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on May 31.
"Don't mistake me. On the 31st at 10 am, I will appear before the SIT and cooperate. I trust the judiciary and believe these are false cases against me. I trust the law," he said in a video released after being absconding for a month.

"I will arrive in Karnataka this Friday and cooperate with the SIT investigation. I have great respect for the law. I was shocked to hear the allegations made against me, which led me to isolate myself for a few days. The foreign trip to Germany was pre-arranged, and I only learned about the case after I had already left the country. Despite this, I will return to the state and cooperate fully with the investigation. I am confident that I will be cleared of all charges," he said.
The 33-year-old Hassan MP is accused of multiple instances of sexual abuse. He left the country on April 26 after videos emerged showing him allegedly abusing multiple women.
Revanna called the allegations "a political conspiracy" and stated he was suffering from "depression and isolation." He also apologized to JDS leaders and party workers for not disclosing his whereabouts.
"I want to apologise to my family members, my Kumaranna [HD Kumaraswamy], and the party workers for not providing proper information about my whereabouts abroad. On April 26th, when the elections were over, there was no case against me. The SIT wasn't formed. Two or three days after I left, I saw these allegations against me on YouTube. I also wrote to the SIT via my lawyer asking for seven days' time," he explained.
Revanna further alleged that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders discussed the matter openly in public, saying, "This is a political conspiracy."
"I apologise as I went into depression and isolation," he added.
A Special Court for Elected Representatives issued an arrest warrant on May 18 against Revanna, following an application by the SIT. Interpol, at the SIT's request via the CBI, has issued a 'Blue Corner Notice' seeking information on his whereabouts.
Revanna, the son of JDS MLA HD Revanna, is reportedly in Germany.
