Prabhas Visits Kateelu Durgaparameshwari Temple Near Mangaluru [Watch Video]

Prabhas, who is basking in the success of his blockbuster film 'Salaar', visited Kateelu Durgaparameshwari Temple in Dakshina Kannada district.

'Salaar' producer Vijay Kiragandur and director Prashanth Neel had accompanied him during his visit. The video of his visit and photos have now gone viral on social media sites.

Kateelu is considered one of the holiest Hindu temple towns in India. It is situated on the banks of the river Nandini.

Their latest movie has become one of the biggest hits of 2023. In fact, the Telugu movie has helped Prabhas to bounce back after a series of average movies. His last major pan-India hit was 'Baahubali'.

However, 'Salaar' has made good business not in Telugu, but in the Hindi belt and Karnataka. Not to forget, it has done well in the US.

Released on December 22 worldwide in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi, 'Salaar' unfolds in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, narrating the friendship between Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman, and Varadha (Prithviraj), the prince of Khansaar.

The multilingual film has successfully completed three weeks at the box office, grossing Rs 400 crore in India.

At the international box office, 'Salaar' maintains its dominance, entering the Rs 700 crore club within 19 days and surpassing Rs 705 crore after 20 days since its release.

Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the film features Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju.

On the work front, the makers of Prabhas' upcoming movie 'Kalki 2898 AD', sci-fi epic which also has Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani, have announced on Friday that the movie will release theatrically worldwide on May 9.
