Power Cuts In Bengaluru: Check The Areas Affected As Listed By BESCOM On Dec 17, 18

Bengaluru residents in and around Koramangala are advised to prepare for a power outage on Tuesday and Wednesday. BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company) has confirmed that power will be cut off from 10 AM to 3 PM on both days due to maintenance work.

The areas that will be affected include St. John Wood Apartments & Hospital, Tavarekere, Accenture, Oracle, Christ College, BTM Layout, Majestic Apartments, Aksa, Oasis Bhavan, Suddhagunte Palya, Gurappan Layout, Victoria Layout, Palm Grove Road, Balaji Theatre, Agran Vivekanagar, Sannenahalli, Vonnar, Anjaneya Temple Street, KSRP Quarters, Linden, Yalungunte Palya, Air Force Road, Rudrappa Garden, MG Garden, Austin Town, Neelasandra, Bazaar, RK Garden, Bengaluru Furniture, Rose Garden, OR Road, and surrounding areas.

Residents in these locations should make alternative arrangements for power usage during the specified hours. BESCOM has requested the cooperation of the public as it works to complete necessary maintenance tasks to ensure a more stable power supply in the future.

To ensure quicker recovery of faulty power lines and improve power supply quality, all 11 kV power lines in Bengaluru city have been automated using SCADA and DMS technology. The system now covers 115 power substations and 1,901 power feeders.
