Pavitra Gowda Said 'Super' To Renuka Swamy's Obscene Pics: Prosecutor Tells Bengaluru Court

Actress Pavitra Gowda had responded to Renuka Swamy's obscene photos with a message "super", the public prosecutor informed a Bengaluru court recently.

During the bail application hearing of actor Darshan on Tuesday, some shocking details emerged in the Sessions Court of Bengaluru.

Special Public Prosecutor Prasanna Kumar revealed a string of messages and interactions involving actress Pavitra Gowda, which shed light on the ongoing murder case of Renukaswamy. She is the accused number 1 in the case.

According to the prosecutor, Pavitra had been in contact with the deceased since February, with the conversations escalating in June. It was during this period that the actress messaged Renukaswamy, asking him to share his phone number. Eventually, she forwarded Pawan's number to Renukaswamy and told him, "This is my number, call it", as per a report in Asianet Suvarna.

When Renukaswamy called Pavitra, Pawan was at her house. During the call, Renukaswamy sent obscene messages and photos to Pavitra and asked for her feedback. Surprisingly, Pavitra responded to these inappropriate messages with a simple "super."

The prosecutor argued that Pavitra could have blocked the contact or lodged a complaint, but instead, she sought more information about Renukaswamy by reaching out to Raghavendra, the President of the Akhil Karnataka Darshan Thoogudeep Sena in Chitradurga.

The prosecutor added that Renukaswamy, who had been working at Apollo Pharmacy, was allegedly targeted by Darshan's associates. When Renukaswamy was confronted about his lies, he sent explicit photos. After this, efforts began to track him down.

Renukaswamy was ultimately kidnapped and murdered by Darshan's aides on June 9, a crime that has placed Darshan, Pavitra Gowda, and 11 others at the center of the investigation.

During the bail hearing, which was presided over by Judge Jaishankar, attorneys representing the other accused presented their arguments, but Darshan's legal team did not make any submissions. The court has reserved its verdict on Darshan's bail petition until October 7.
