Kannada Actor Nagabhushana Says Unable To Answer Phone Calls Or Visit Victim's Family After Fatal Car Accident

Kannada actor Nagabhushana on Monday broke his silence on a recent car accident involving his vehicle, which claimed the life of one woman and left another seriously injured. The accident happened as he drove home to JP Nagar from a friend's place in Rajarajeshwari Nagar.

In a recent press conference, the 37-year-old actor shared his account of the incident, expressing his deep regret and sorrow for the victim. He also addressed concerns about his whereabouts in the aftermath of the accident and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting those affected by the tragedy, as reported by TV9.

Following the incident, the injured woman was promptly admitted to the hospital, and Nagabhushana personally informed the police, cooperating fully with the authorities in the aftermath.

Tragically, the 48-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries while undergoing medical treatment. Police officials conducted necessary procedures and tests, including a blood test, to determine whether alcohol had played a role in the accident. According to Nagabhushana, the test results confirmed that alcohol was not a contributing factor in the incident.

Expressing his deep sorrow and empathy, Nagabhushana shared, "I have not run away from my responsibilities. I understand the pain of losing a loved one in an accident, as I lost my father when I was very young."

Nagabhushana expressed his desire to support and connect with those affected by the tragedy, adding, ''I want to empathize with their pain. My passion is to make people laugh, not to bring sadness to anyone."

Addressing concerns about his whereabouts in the wake of the accident, Nagabhushana said as quoted by TV9, "I am not currently able to answer phone calls, and I have not visited the victim's family. I am still deciding how to approach the situation. Please allow me some time." He clarified that this was not a hit-and-run case and reaffirmed that the accident had occurred unintentionally.
