Chandram Yegapagol's untimely departure was the result of a catastrophic sequence of events on a national highway in Nelamangala, where a container lorry toppled onto his Volvo car, claiming the lives of six family members in total. The Bengaluru accident has not only shaken the tech community but also brought attention to the dangers of the Nelamangala highway, where this heartbreaking tragedy occurred.
Originating from Bijapur, Chandram and the other victims were traveling to their hometown when they met their tragic fate. The staff at IAST Software Solutions are grappling with the shock of losing their leader. The sudden news of the accident and the consequential death of their employer has led to a halt in operations, as workers logged off their systems and left the premises, unable to continue in their current state of mind. Meanwhile, a heart-wrenching video of Chandram Yegapagol's newly purchased Volvo XC90 has gone viral following the tragic Bengaluru accident on the Nelamangala highway that claimed his life and that of his family. Just two months ago, Chandram bought the car from the Martial Volvo Cars showroom in Bengaluru, where a celebratory welcome ceremony was held. The showroom shared a video on its Instagram page on November 5, showing Chandram with his wife and young daughter.
In the video, Chandram is seen cutting a cake, feeding the first slice to his daughter, who then lovingly reciprocated. What was once a moment of joy has now turned into a painful reminder of their loss, with many viewers leaving "RIP" messages and expressing sadness over the family's untimely demise. Now, the video has been deleted.
Chandram, the Managing Director of IAST Software Solutions, was a visionary leader in the automotive software programming industry. He had ambitious plans for expanding his company, which is headquartered in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, employing over 200 people and serving clients across Europe and China.
Chandram had informed his staff during a meeting on Friday night that he would be away for a few days due to travel. Tragically, that journey ended in the Bengaluru accident on the Nelamangala highway, leaving the tech community and his loved ones in profound grief.
