South Bengaluru will likely see moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms throughout the day, which could result in significant water accumulation on roads, making travel difficult. East Bengaluru is forecasted to experience a mix of moderate to heavy rainfall with some areas witnessing intense downpours and thunderstorms; residents are encouraged to stay indoors during these heavy spells to ensure safety. Meanwhile, West Bengaluru can expect light to moderate rain accompanied by occasional thundershowers.
Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that these areas may experience intense spells of rain, though no formal warnings or alerts have been issued from May 25 to May 28.
