Karnataka Weather Alert: Dry weather is set to prevail across Karnataka on December 21 and 22, covering today and tomorrow. However, light rain is forecast for isolated areas in Ramanagara, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, and Mysore districts on December 23. The rest of South Interior Karnataka, as well as Coastal and North Interior Karnataka, are expected to remain dry.

On December 24, light rainfall is likely in isolated areas of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Ramanagara, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, and Mysore. Dry conditions are predicted for the remaining districts across Uttara Kannada, North Interior Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka.

The pattern continues on December 25, with light rain expected in isolated areas of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Hassan, Shivamogga, Chamarajanagara, Mandya, and Mysore. Other districts in Uttara Kannada, North Interior Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka are likely to remain dry.

Karnataka Weather Forecast On December 26

On December 26, light rain may occur in Udupi, Belgaum, Vijayapura, Dharwad, Gadag, Kodagu, Chikkamagaluru, Chamarajanagara, Ramanagara, Hassan, Mandya, and Mysore districts. Meanwhile, dry conditions will dominate in Uttara Kannada and other parts of Interior Karnataka.

Temperature fluctuations have been notable across the state, with different areas recording distinct highs and lows. Bengaluru's HAL area saw temperatures peaking at 27.0 degrees Celsius and dropping to a minimum of 19.5 degrees Celsius. Similarly, the city's overall temperature spanned from a high of 27.5 degrees Celsius to a low of 20.0 degrees Celsius. The KIAL area, on the other hand, experienced a slightly cooler climate with temperatures ranging between 27.1 degrees Celsius and 19.9 degrees Celsius, while GKVK recorded the highest maximum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 16.8 degrees Celsius.

Coastal regions like Honnavar and Karwar witnessed even higher temperatures, with Honnavar reaching up to 33.3 degrees Celsius and Karwar peaking at 34.4 degrees Celsius. This warmth extended to Shirali and Panambur, where the mercury climbed to 31.6 and 33.1 degrees Celsius, respectively, highlighting the warmer climate near Karnataka's coastline.

Inland, towns such as Bidar, Vijayapura, and Bagalkot experienced their own range of temperatures. Bidar's temperatures varied from a high of 29.6 degrees Celsius to a low of 18.0 degrees Celsius. Vijayapura recorded a maximum of 31.0 degrees Celsius, contrasted by a chilly 14.0 degrees Celsius at its lowest. Bagalkot saw a high of 32.0 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.1 degrees Celsius, illustrating the temperature diversity within the state.

Moreover, districts like Dharwad, Gadag, Kalaburagi, and Haveri in North Karnataka have also faced temperature variations. Dharwad's temperature ranged from 29.2 degrees Celsius at its highest to 16.4 degrees Celsius at its lowest. Gadag and Kalaburagi recorded maximum temperatures of 30.0 and 33.8 degrees Celsius, respectively, with minimum temperatures staying above 16 degrees Celsius. Haveri's temperatures fluctuated between 30.4 degrees Celsius and 18.1 degrees Celsius, reflecting the broader weather patterns experienced across Karnataka.

As Karnataka braces for more rain in the coming days, the state continues to witness a mix of temperature highs and lows, ranging from the cooler inland areas to the warmer coastal regions. This variability emphasizes the diverse climatic conditions present within the state, affecting residents in numerous ways.
