Karnataka Weather Alert: Clouds And Sun to Play Together In Bengaluru Weather Forecast
Bengaluru seems to be on the cusp of setting a new record for scorching temperatures, with the recent weather trends causing concern among residents. Despite a brief respite today with cloudy skies, the city has been experiencing a prolonged period of intense heat.
On Wednesday, Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 37°C, matching the record for the hottest April day since 2016. This stretch of hot weather has been relentless, with temperatures consistently hovering around 37°C for the past four days.

Interestingly, this month alone has seen Bengaluru hit the 37°C mark approximately 11 times, a significant departure from its usual weather patterns. The situation is reminiscent of the extreme summer of 2016 when the city witnessed similar temperatures, recording 37°C and above on 11 occasions throughout the season. Yesterday's temperature matching this count indicates the severity of the current heatwave, raising concerns about surpassing this number today.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Heat Wave alert, predicting severe heatwave conditions in many places over Gangetic West Bengal and parts of Odisha. Isolated pockets over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Interior Karnataka, and East Uttar Pradesh are also expected to experience heatwave conditions.

In light of these forecasts, residents are urged to take precautions to stay safe and healthy. It is essential to stay cool and hydrated, avoiding strenuous activity during peak sun hours. Wearing loose, cotton clothing and consuming plenty of fluids are vital steps to mitigate the effects of the heatwave.
Bengaluru Weather Forecast: A Week of Clear Skies with a Hint of Clouds
Bengaluru is gearing up for a week of relatively stable weather conditions. According to the latest forecast, the city can expect clear skies with occasional clouds adding a touch of variety to the otherwise sunny days.

Starting from April 25, 2024, the minimum temperature is expected to be around 23.0°C, with the maximum temperature reaching up to 36.0°C. The weather pattern remains consistent throughout the week, with April 26 to April 28 showing similar temperatures and clear skies.
As we move towards the weekend, April 29 brings a slight change in the forecast with a partly cloudy sky. While the minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to remain steady at 23.0°C and 36.0°C, respectively, the sight of clouds might offer some relief from the direct sunlight.
The trend continues into April 30, with the weather forecast indicating a partly cloudy sky once again.
