Darshan Thoogudeepa Heads to Wife Vijayalakshmi's House in Hosakerehalli, Reunites With Son On His Birthday

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa walked out of Bellary Central Jail around 5 PM today, following his grant of interim bail on medical grounds. He had been in custody for over four months in connection with the murder case of Renuka Swamy.

Upon his release, Darshan began his journey from Bellary at approximately 6 PM, traveling by car to his wife's residence in the Hosakerehalli area of Bengaluru. While earlier reports indicated he would head to RR Nagar, plans changed unexpectedly. His son, Vinesh, was also present for the homecoming, as the family prepares to celebrate his birthday tomorrow.

Vijayalakshmi, Darshan's wife, was seen waiting outside the jail to receive him, reflecting the emotional strain that this legal ordeal has caused for the family. She had been a steadfast supporter throughout Darshan's detention, often visiting temples, including the Kamakhya Temple in Assam, to pray for his release. Her unwavering faith in his innocence has been a source of strength during this challenging time.

The Karnataka High Court, led by Justice S Vishwajith Shetty, granted Darshan six weeks of interim bail to undergo necessary medical treatment. However, the court's decision included stringent conditions to prevent any interference with the ongoing judicial process. Darshan is required to surrender his passport, post a bond of ₹2 lakh, and provide two sureties. Additionally, he must refrain from contacting witnesses and submit a medical report within a week of his release.

The actor's arrest in June while filming his upcoming movie "Devil" at a Mysuru hotel sent shockwaves through the Kannada film industry and his fanbase. The court's bail decision has reignited interest in the case, with supporters eagerly awaiting further developments.

As Darshan resumes his medical treatments outside prison, this temporary reprieve brings a sense of relief to his family. However, the legal proceedings continue to hang over them, and the case remains a focal point of public attention, with fans hoping for a favorable resolution while respecting the due course of law.
