Cauvery row: BJP to boycott all party meet, JD(S) reps to resign
Bengaluru, Sept 21: There is a lot of activity in Karnataka following the verdict of the Supreme Court which directed the release of Cauvery Water to Tamil Nadu.
While on one hand the BJP has decided to boycott the all party meeting called by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, on the other, the JD(S) representatives have decided to resign from all positions.

The BJP decided to boycott the all party meeting while terming it as a waste exercise. During the last all party meeting, the BJP had suggested that water should not be released.
However, the Congress did not take their suggestion into account and decided to release water while abiding with the verdict of the Supreme Court. If our views are not taken into account then what is the point in attending such meetings, the BJP leaders said.
