Bengaluru was greeted with a misty and fog-laden morning, painting the cityscape in a serene, dreamy hue. The atmospheric conditions enveloped the city, creating an ethereal yet slightly obscured view for its residents. With the onset of winter, the city witnessed this picturesque foggy morning, enhancing its charm and altering the usual cityscape.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) in Bengaluru recorded a level of 166, reflecting moderate air quality.

As the city emerged from the night's chill, the temperature stood at a 13-14 degrees Celsius at 7.30 am, indicating the onset of a crisp, wintry ambiance.
Bengaluru, known for its moderate climate throughout the year, experiences subtle shifts during the winter months, with cooler temperatures setting in, albeit mildly compared to many other parts of the country.
Despite the fog, life in Bengaluru continued its rhythm. People made their way through the misty streets, commuters set off for work, and the city gradually awakened to another day of activity and vibrancy.
Netizens took to social media, sharing photos and videos of the mesmerizing cityscape, marveling at the rare sight of their bustling metropolis cloaked in tranquility. Cyclists and joggers, bundled in layers, embraced the cool, crisp air, their breath forming fleeting puffs of condensation in the fog.
As the day progressed, the fog gradually lifted, unveiling the cityscape in its usual vibrancy, bustling with life and activities.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said dry weather conditions will prevail in most parts of Karnataka including Bengaluru.
The 'Garden City' is expected to have mainly clear skies with shallow to moderate fog and/or mist very likely during early morning hours in some areas. The minimum temperatures is likely to be 2-3 degrees Celsius below normal, mainly at a few places in the northern hinterland.
