Bengaluru Traffic Police Takes Strict Action Against Biker With 40 Pending Cases
A recent post by the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) is taking the internet by storm. The BTP recently posted a pic of a person who paid a hefty amount of Rs 12000 as a fine for violating traffic rules in the city.

The BTP on Saturday caught the person near Thallaghatta Police Limits on his two-wheeler. The person had 40 pending cases on his two-wheelers. The traffic police made him pay the challan on the spot and shared an image of him on platform X formerly Twitter.
The BTP took to platform X, "Total 40 pending cases clear ₹12000."
Reacting to the social media post, the netizens in a rage of anger demanded the BTP to cancel his license for committing repeated offences.
One user wrote, "Is he feeling so proud to have achieved that number?" while a few others commented that the licence of the violator should be cancelled.
"With due respect .. collection of fines is not really your job...unless you think it is. Should you not recommend to the RTO to cancel his driving licence with immediate effect? Perhaps he needs counselling. Otherwise, you will post another photo with him next year too," wrote another user.
Some netizens even lashed out at the person for not abiding by the traffic rules and posing the camera with the challan shamelessly, "And yet there is no regret on his face. BTP should really up their game of putting hefty fines and as regularly as possible. People should be scared to commit the mistake."
With an aim to detect traffic violations and issue challans to the violators, the Bengaluru Traffic Police recently launched an Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) in the city The Artificial Intelligence (AI) system will detect violations of the speed limit, jumping the signal, riding without a helmet, triple riding and using mobile phones while driving.
