Bengaluru Traffic Alert: Temporary Road Closures On Peenya 100 Feet Road, Check Alternate Routes

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has announced that white topping work will be carried out on a 200-meter stretch of Peenya 100 Feet Road, extending from Peenya Industrial Association Junction to Jalahalli Cross Junction. To facilitate the construction, vehicular traffic has been restricted, and parking will be prohibited on this section of the road starting from Saturday, February 1, until the work is completed. The Bengaluru Traffic Police shared the update through a tweet.

Traffic Restrictions

Vehicular movement will be restricted on Peenya 100 Feet Road from Peenya Industrial Association Junction to Jalahalli Cross Junction during this period.

Alternative Routes

Vehicles traveling towards Jalahalli Cross Junction via Peenya 100 Feet Road are advised to take a right turn at Peenya Industrial Association Junction and proceed through the two-way traffic road on the other side of the road.

All types of goods vehicles can take an alternate route from TVS Cross Junction via Peenya Police Station Road and then proceed via Tumkur Road at Peenya Police Station Junction.

No Parking Zones

Parking of all vehicles has been temporarily restricted on Peenya Police Station Road, Peenya 100 Feet Road (from Jalahalli Cross to TVS Cross), and Peenya 1st Cross Road until the completion of the white topping work.
Motorists are advised to follow these alternate routes and avoid parking in the restricted areas to prevent any inconvenience.
