Bengaluru Traffic Alert: Shivajinagar Commuters Face Major Disruptions for 30 Days

Commuters in the Bengaluru's Shivajinagar area should prepare for significant traffic changes over the next 30 days due to ongoing metro construction work. Starting November 11, these changes will affect key locations such as Shivaji Circle and Jyoti Cafe.

The construction work, located near Jyoti Cafe, will result in traffic diversions to ensure public and motorist safety. Restrictions will be in place from Balekundri towards Shivaji Nagar, particularly around Shivaji Circle.

Additionally, there will be alterations to the routes of BMTC buses and other vehicles heading towards the Shivajinagar BMTC bus stand. All vehicle types, including BMTC buses, will experience route changes during this period.

For those approaching Shivaji Circle or coming from Shivaji Road towards Jyoti Cafe and the Shivajinagar BMTC station, new routes will be in effect.

To avoid disruptions, commuters are advised to take the following alternative route: Vehicles coming from Balekundri to the Shivajinagar BMTC bus stand should take a left turn at the Traffic Headquarters junction, proceed towards Central Street via Innentry Road, and continue to the Shivajinagar BMTC bus stand.

Authorities urge all commuters to plan their routes ahead and remain patient as metro construction continues. These measures are being implemented to manage traffic flow and ensure public safety during this period.
