In light of the event, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued a detailed press note outlining traffic diversions, parking restrictions, and public transport suggestions to ensure public safety and smooth movement.

In the latest update issued at 3.28 PM, the Bengaluru Traffic Police have restricted movement on key roads around Chinnaswamy Stadium from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, urging citizens to avoid the Central Business District (CBD) during peak event hours.

Traffic-Restricted Roads (3:00 PM - 8:00 PM):

  • Ambedkar Veedi
  • Cubbon Road
  • MG Road
  • Queens Road
  • Kasturba Road

Commuters are advised to take alternate routes and cooperate with traffic officials during the event period.

Parking Restrictions:

To maintain smooth traffic flow and public safety, no parking of vehicles is allowed in and around Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, limited parking facilities are available at designated spots:

Attendees are encouraged to use Metro services and BMTC buses due to limited parking availability.

The Bengaluru City Police have urged the public to cooperate fully with traffic regulations and use public transportation to avoid congestion. The public is also advised to refrain from unnecessary travel within the CBD zone during the event window.
