Bengaluru Flooding: Manyata Tech Park Turns Into ‘Manyata Tech Falls' Amid Torrential Rains

Bengaluru is grappling with heavy rainfall, leading to widespread flooding in several parts of the city. Among the hardest-hit areas is Manyata Tech Park, one of India's largest office hubs, which was submerged by the downpour.

Companies within the 300-acre tech park advised employees to remain in their offices as waterlogged roads, both inside and outside the complex, made movement difficult. Videos of the flooded tech park have gone viral on social media, highlighting the severity of the situation.

In one video, cars can be seen stranded on submerged roads, while water cascades down a wall like a waterfall. Another video shows vehicles struggling to navigate through the flooded streets. An X user shared one of the clips with a sarcastic caption, renaming Manyata Tech Park as "Manyata Tech Falls" and calling for better flood management.

The relentless rain, which began early Tuesday, has led to flood-like conditions across Bengaluru. Along with Manyata Tech Park, images of waterlogged areas such as the Geddalahalli Railway Underbridge and the RGA Tech Park junction have also been circulating online.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast continued rainfall for Bengaluru, with moderate to heavy showers expected between October 14 and 17.
