Bengaluru Dance Bar Raided: Club One, Ramba, Brigade Blue Among 17 Booked for Obscenity, Timings
In a major late-night operation on Thursday, Bengaluru Police raided over 17 dance bars across various parts of the city for allegedly violating multiple rules. The crackdown targeted bars in Bengaluru Central and West Divisions, including well-known establishments such as Club One, Ramba, and Brigade Blue.

Police sources revealed that the raids were conducted in response to complaints about bars operating beyond the permitted hours and young women being made to perform obscene dances. Several bars located under the jurisdiction of Cubbon Park, Ashok Nagar, S.J. Park, and Upparpete police stations were inspected during the operation. Authorities confirmed that cases have been registered against bars found flouting the regulations.
This action comes as part of an intensified effort by Bengaluru Police to curb illegal activities in nightlife establishments across the city.
Gang Arrested for Stealing and Selling Cars in Bengaluru
In a separate development, the Vidyaranyapura Police have busted a gang involved in stealing and selling vehicles across Bengaluru. The arrested individuals have been identified as Umesh, Tabrez, and Jabir Khan. Officials seized six stolen Omni cars worth ₹12 lakh from the trio.
Police investigations revealed that the gang had previously been arrested in a 2020 tractor theft case registered under Kamakshipalya Police Station limits. After being released on bail, the accused switched from targeting tractors to stealing Omni cars.
The gang's modus operandi involved stealing cars in Bengaluru and selling them in rural areas. Their latest theft, a car stolen in May from Vidyaranyapura, was captured on CCTV footage and led to their arrest.
