In light of the upcoming Aero India 2025 air show, scheduled for February 13 and 14, the Department of College Education has declared a holiday for degree colleges in and around Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. The order, issued on January 28, applies to government, aided, and private degree colleges, though specific institutions were not named in the announcement.

• College Closures: The Education Department has advised the suspension of classes in government first-class and private aided colleges near Yelahanka.
• Flight Disruptions: Passenger flights at Kempegowda International Airport will be temporarily halted during the air show hours.
• Meat Sale Ban: The BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike) has imposed a 26-day ban on meat sales within a 13 km radius of the Yelahanka Air Force Station. Violators will face legal action under the BBMP Act 2020 and Aircraft Rules 1937.
