PC gives clean-chit to Rajiv on Bhopal tragedy

The Government had given hope to the Opposition that they will tell the Supreme Court to review its decision on Keshub Mahindra.
Chidambaram also said that MEA is seeking extradition of Warren Anderson, the main accused of the 1984 gas tragedy.
"We will place the Anderson extradition in front of the United States. As Government has more evidence, we will press for Anderson's extradition, " added Chidambaram.
He also defended Rajiv Gandhi, stating that the decision to let Anderson go, was taken by the then CM Arjun singh.
He said that Rajiv 'Ji' had nothing to do with it the Anderson's exit from India.
Chidambaram further said that the government will file a curative petition for the Bhopal gas victims and it will also provide compensations and funds to them.
