Legal Aid Clinics to be set up across the country
New Delhi, Aug.12 (ANI): Minister of Law and Justice Dr.M.Veerappa Moily said on Thursday that the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) through its State Legal Services Authorities, District Legal Services Authorities, Taluk Legal Services Committee is in the process of setting up legal aid clinics throughout the country.
While giving this information in the Lok Sabha, Minister of Law and Justice Dr. Moily also said: "The National Plan of Action for the year 2009-10 and 20100-11 contemplates setting up of Legal Aid Clinics in all Mandal level and Panchayat level. Now NALSA is planning to set up Legal Aid Clinics in all villages." (ANI)
