Mayawati skips PM's meet over price rise
New Delhi, Feb 6 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today skipped the Prime Minister's meeting as she blamed the central government on the current scenario of surging inflation.
Earlier, she accused Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar for the not taking enough stand to curb the price rise and demanded his removal from the post.
It seems that politics over price rise would continue in the days ahead.
The meeting comes a day after a Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, during which Pawar came under fire for his handling of the price rise crisis. Many Congress leaders hit out at the minister without naming him. (ANI)
