Bajaj launches sports bike Kawasaki Ninja
New Delhi, Oct 8: Bajaj, country's second largest two-wheeler manufacturer fired a fresh ammunition into the high-end bikes battlefield with its new sports bike, Kawasaki Ninja 250R.
Priced at Rs 2.7 lakhs, Ninja is a 250cc 4-stroke bike which would be retailed exclusively through Bajaj's Probiking showrooms.
"We conceived Bajaj Probiking four years back with the objective of making it the automatic destination for bike enthusiasts looking for bigger and sportier bikes... the launch of the Kawasaki Ninja 250R is one of many initiatives lined up in realising that objective," Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) President (New Projects) Eric Vas said in a statement..
BAL which claims that this largest selling 25 cc bike in the world, expects to sell 1,000 units in the first 12 months of the launch.
