Taliban now control NWFP's Buner region
Islamabad, Apr.13 (ANI): The Taliban has established its control over the Buner region in the North West Frontier Province (NWFP) of Pakistan, The News reported.
The Union Council Nazim Afsar Khan, while confirming the news, said people in the area have started fleeing from their houses fearing attack by Talibani fighters.
Several masked Talibani fighters with sophisticated weapons were seen patrolling in the town's streets.
Khan said the Taliban has also seized properties and other belongings of the locals.
Sources said they have also captured the district headquarters.(ANI)
