Paul Burrell to be subject of comedy biopic?
London, Apr 7 (ANI): Former royal butler Paul Burrell's tattered life will be mercilessly satirised in a TV film, it has emerged.
Burrell, Diana's former servant, became infamous after he shamelessly cashed in on his association with her.
Now, industry insiders are claiming that the production will focus on Burrell's turbulent life since the Princess's death, including the court case when he was wrongly accused of stealing her possessions; his efforts to make money from his past royal association; and his farcical appearance at Diana's inquest.
Among names being touted for the role are comedy actors Steve Coogan and David Walliams.
"It will be a very comical take on Burrell's life and it's hoped it will be shown on the BBC," The Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.
"His life is clearly a bizarre one and has all kinds of humorous potential," the source added.
Burrell, 50, is these days mainly based in Florida. (ANI)
