Michael Caine says 'Batman will battle the Riddler' in next film
Washington, Apr 2 (ANI): Sir Michael Caine, who played Batman's butler in the last two superhero instalments, has said that the Caped Crusader will take on villain-The Riddler-in the next film.
Spilling the beans about the upcoming Batman sequel, the British star has revealed that his boss' foe in the next movie will "probably be The Riddler."
Riddler is already popular on screen after Jim Carrey did the role in 1995's Batman Forever and Frank Gorshin-who died in 2005-played the part on TV.
Hollywood gossips have claimed that both Johnny Depp and Eddie Murphy are being considered for the role.
Caine, who starred both in 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight', has no idea who will be cast.
However, the British star is hoping for a performance to rival Heath Ledger's Oscar-winning portrayal of The Joker in 'The Dark Knight'.
"I thought it (The Joker character) was going to be a tough job for anyone who played the role after Jack Nicholson (in 1989's Batman). Now Heath is the Joker," Contactmusic quoted Caine as telling People magazine.(ANI)
