Kerry Katona's new MTV series may be pulled after slurring video
London, Mar 29 (ANI): New fears for Kerry Katona's well-being have been raised after she was seen slurring her words, gurning, and swaying in a recently leaked video.
The shocking three-minute clip is the bankrupt star's first video since her reconciliation with her husband Mark Croft 10 days ago.
The footage, shot on March 25 by her MTV crew, shows troubled Kerry on the phone at a spa resort, gabbling to one of the channel's workers.
There are now fears that her next series, due to be broadcast in May, may be pulled.
"Kerry seems to be in this state all the time. The footage that's been coming in has shocked a lot of people here," the News of the World quoted a source as saying.
The source added: "Kerry blames it on medication for her bipolar disorder (manic depression)-but that's becoming harder for us to believe."
In the video, the MTV worker asks whether she and Mark are still together, and a gurning Kerry- looking bedraggled in a white dressing gown-slurred: "Yes we are. Mark's at home looking after the kids. I'm here with a friend."
But gabbling on about Mark, she said: "Things happen in a marriage, things have to be said, things happen behind closed doors-that's between a man and wife, a husband and wife."
At one point in the video, she said that she wanted to develop an acting career this year.
"Yeah, I'm looking forward to the future. I'm looking forward to the new show coming out. People watching that. Maybe a bit of acting," she said.
However, the six-part series may not be shown owing to Kerry's increasingly disturbed antics.
The source said: "We're desperately trying to put a show together -but her behaviour keeps changing the game." (ANI)
