Pink donates $ 250,000 to Red Cross Bushfire Appeal
Melbourne, Feb 16 (ANI): American singer-songwriter Pink has doled out 250,000 dollars to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal in aid for rebuilding communities across Victoria, which were ravaged by bushfires.
Pink, who counts the country as her second home, will be holding a 13-night stint at the Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, in May and June this year.
"There is little anyone can do at such a long distance away but I wanted to make a tangible expression of support," the Herald Sun quoted her as saying.
The singer, who has the next biggest number of fans after American in Australia, will be breaking John Farnham's record for most nights at Rod Laver Arena. (ANI)
