HC ordered to stop production and sale of banned drugs: Minister

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) The Delhi High Court has issued directions to stop production and sale of fixed dose combination Vitamin B1 + B 6+B 12, indicated for neurological disorder, the Lok Sabha was informed today.

Minister of state for Health and Family Welfare Panabaka Lakshmi gave this information in reply to a question by Mr Raghuveer Singh Koshal (BJP) on whether the Delhi HC had issued any directions in respect of production and sale of banned drugs.

The Minister further said the instructions by the High Court had been issued to the state Drug Controller to cancel such manufacturing licenses.
