AICC secretary urges CPI(M) to stop land agitations
Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary and MLC P Sudhakara Reddy today urged the CPI(M) to immediately give up the ''land grab'' agitation in Andhra Pradesh and stop instigating the poor people.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the State Government had been distributing land to landless poor in a systematic way. It has already distributed 4.37 lakh acres of land.
He alleged that the CPI(M) was instigating the poor people and organising the ''land grab'' agitations in various parts of the state and creating law and order problems in the state.
He asked the government to prosecute those who instigate people and create law and order problems.
He urged the CPI(M) leaders not to create a Nandigram like situation in the state.
