He was stabbed multiple times in the neck, chest, back and abdomen, police said. Passersby rushed him to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
An FIR has been registered at the Palla police station under sections related to murder and common intention of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Two suspects - Sonu Khan and Tushar - have been identified by police as anti-social elements. Raids are currently underway to arrest them and any others involved in the attack.
Residents demand strict action
The brutal killing has created panic and anger among residents of Girdawar Enclave and nearby areas. Locals have demanded swift arrests and stronger measures to ensure safety for women and girls in the locality.
Police officials said the investigation is ongoing and more details will be shared as the probe progresses. Authorities have assured that all those involved in the crime will be identified and brought to justice.
