Army Public School, Air Force Bal Bharati Receive Threat Messages Amid CBSE Exams

A fresh wave of email bomb threats has put two prominent Delhi schools on alert, adding to a tense week for students appearing in board examinations. Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodhi Road reportedly received threatening messages electronically, prompting an immediate security response.

Police teams, bomb disposal squads and school security staff swiftly swept both campuses. Entry gates were placed under tighter watch, visitors were screened more carefully and patrols were intensified around the premises. Officials confirmed that no suspicious packages or explosive devices have been found so far. Despite the disruption, classes have continued, though under heightened vigilance.

The developments come at a sensitive time, with examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education underway across the city. Earlier in the week, similar threats were reported at CRPF Public School, St Thomas School, Dwarka, and DAV Centenary Public School, Paschim Enclave during Class 12 examinations. Emergency teams, including fire and rescue units, were deployed as a precaution in those cases as well, but no explosives were detected.

Investigators are now examining whether the emails share technical similarities, raising the possibility of a single sender behind the threats. Cyber teams are working to trace the origin of the messages, while local authorities remain on standby for any further alerts.
