Abandoned SUV, 3 Bodies: Delhi Police Launch Probe After 1 Woman, 2 Men Discovered Dead On Peeragarhi Flyover

Three bodies were discovered inside an abandoned SUV on Delhi's Peeragarhi flyover on Sunday, prompting a major police investigation into the mysterious deaths.

Fire department officials first received a call about a suspicious unattended vehicle parked on the busy flyover.

When responders reached the spot and inspected the Toyota Qualis (Tavera), they found three individuals lying motionless inside, turning what began as a routine alert into a disturbing discovery.

Police were immediately informed and the area was secured as authorities began examining the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Identities Of Victims Confirmed

Police later identified the deceased as Randhir Singh (60), Lakshmi Singh (40), and Shiv Narayan (46). The three were found in what officials described as suspicious circumstances inside the parked vehicle.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Investigators are awaiting autopsy reports to establish whether foul play, poisoning, or any other factor led to the deaths.

Officials said the findings from the forensic and medical examinations will be crucial in determining the direction of the investigation.

Forensic Examination And CCTV Scan Underway

Fire personnel were the first to reach the location and confirmed that the vehicle appeared abandoned before informing the police. Soon after, police teams arrived and cordoned off the flyover to prevent public access while forensic experts examined the vehicle.

Forensic teams carefully inspected the SUV for evidence such as fingerprints, possible toxic substances, and any signs of struggle. Preliminary observations indicated no visible external injuries on the bodies, though investigators have not ruled out any possibility.

Police have launched a detailed probe and are currently scanning CCTV footage from the flyover and surrounding areas to trace how the vehicle reached the spot and who was last seen with the victims.
