Mother Of 3 Usha Vance Breaks Silence On Viral ‘No Wedding Ring’ Photos

United States Second Lady Usha Vance has addressed renewed speculation about her marriage after photos of her appearing without her wedding ring during a visit to Camp Lejeune reignited online gossip.

The images, taken on November 19 during her visit to the North Carolina base alongside First Lady Melania Trump, showed several close-up shots of her left hand without the ring. The photos quickly spread across social media, triggering a fresh wave of rumours about her relationship with Vice President JD Vance.

While some users treated the pictures as evidence of longstanding whispers about marital strain, others reacted with jokes - suggesting the Vice President might face an uncomfortable evening at home.

A spokesperson for Usha Vance moved swiftly to shut down the speculation, telling People magazine that the mother of three often ends up "doing a lot of dishes, giving lots of baths, and forgetting her ring sometimes."

This is not the first time the couple has been at the centre of public scrutiny. Earlier months saw intense commentary after the Vice President warmly hugged Erika, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, during a Turning Point USA event.

Erika introduced JD Vance at the University of Mississippi, saying she recognised "some similarities" between Kirk and the Vice President. "No one will ever replace my husband. But I do see some similarities of my husband in Vice President JD Vance. I do. And that's why I am so blessed to be able to introduce him tonight," she told the audience. The remarks, combined with the embrace, went viral within hours.

JD Vance also drew attention recently when he told a Turning Point USA crowd that he hopes his wife - who is Hindu - will one day accept Catholicism, the faith he adopted after converting in 2019. "I believe in the Christian Gospel and I hope eventually my wife comes to see it the same way," he said.

Usha and JD Vance met at Yale Law School and married in 2014. They are parents to three children: Ewan, 8; Vivek, 5; and Mirabel, 3.
