Donald Trump Repeats Claim On Greenland, Says ‘If We Don’t, Russia Or China Will…’

US President Donald Trump has once again made strong remarks about Greenland, saying the United States needs control of the territory for national security reasons.

In a post shared on Truth Social on Tuesday morning, Trump repeated his earlier claims and warned that if the US does not secure Greenland, other global powers could step in.

Trump said Greenland is important for America's defence plans and is vital for what he described as the "Golden Dome" project. He argued that the issue is not optional and should be taken seriously by the US and its allies.

Links Greenland to NATO Strength

In his post, Trump claimed that NATO would become stronger and more effective if Greenland were under US control. He said that without the military power of the United States, NATO would not be a strong force or a credible deterrent.

Trump also stated that the US has played the biggest role in building NATO's military strength and is now taking it to a higher level. According to him, Greenland's location and strategic value make it essential for future defence planning.

Warning Over Russia and China

The president warned that if the US does not act, countries like Russia or China could try to gain influence over Greenland. He said this would not be acceptable and stressed that America must act to protect its interests.

Trump added that NATO should take the lead in helping the US secure Greenland, saying anything less would weaken the alliance. He ended his message by thanking readers for their attention, once again underlining the seriousness of his claim.

Trump's comments are expected to renew debate around Greenland's strategic importance and the future role of the US in the Arctic region.
