India stability under Modi, says Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, urging peaceful Holi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said India remains stable and progressing under Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite global unrest, citing heightened tensions in West Asia. Speaking at a Bhakt Prahlad Shobhayatra event, he said festivals thrive in peace and harmony, and urged people to celebrate Holi and Holika Dahan with dignity.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said India stayed stable and moved ahead under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Adityanath said many countries faced unrest and conflict. Adityanath linked the remarks to recent hostilities in West Asia. Adityanath said festivals felt joyful only in peace and harmony. Adityanath spoke at the Bhakt Prahlad Shobhayatra in Pandehata.

Adityanath said India’s progress let citizens feel proud amid global turmoil. Adityanath said India was showing the idea of a New India. Adityanath added that the New India offered celebration and opportunity for all sections. Adityanath listed youth and elderly, women and men, farmers and traders. Adityanath also included entrepreneurs in the list of beneficiaries.

Holi celebrations: Yogi Adityanath urges safe and respectful conduct

Adityanath appealed for Holi to be marked with dignity and care. Adityanath said Holika Dahan should not trouble anyone. Adityanath said no one’s property should be damaged during rituals. Adityanath said Holi songs must reflect the festival’s spirit. Adityanath warned against obscenity in songs. Adityanath said safety mattered for every daughter, sister and trader.

Adityanath said only colours and gulal should be used for Rangwali Holi. Adityanath asked people to avoid mud and chemical substances. Adityanath said no one should force colour on another person’s face. Adityanath said some elderly people, children, sick people, or grieving families may opt out. Adityanath said participation should remain voluntary for everyone.

Uttar Pradesh law and order: Yogi Adityanath contrasts pre-2014 period

Adityanath claimed festivals in Uttar Pradesh earlier brought tension before 2014. Adityanath said curfews were imposed ahead of festivals. Adityanath said traders and common citizens suffered due to this atmosphere. Adityanath said gangsterism was at its peak then. Adityanath said neither daughters nor traders were safe. Adityanath added that Uttar Pradesh now saw no curfew or riots.

Adityanath used mythology to explain action against criminals and mafia elements. Adityanath compared such elements to Hiranyakashyap. Adityanath said persuasion did not change those forces. Adityanath said firm action was needed against anarchy and lawlessness. "Laton ke bhoot baton se nahin mante The ghosts of violence do not listen to words,\" Adityanath said. Adityanath referred to Lord Vishnu’s Narasimha avatar.

Pandehata redevelopment: Yogi Adityanath outlines heritage corridor plans

Adityanath spoke about redevelopment work in Pandehata. Adityanath described the area as a heritage corridor being widened and redesigned. Adityanath said narrow lanes earlier caused congestion for traders and devotees. Adityanath referred to devotees visiting the Kalibari temple. Adityanath said the corridor was turning into one of the city’s most attractive corridors. Adityanath said no one would be displaced for development.

Adityanath said the goal was prosperity and business growth for locals. Adityanath said shopkeepers affected by limited space would get support. Adityanath said such shopkeepers would be accommodated in a nearby new complex. Adityanath said rents there would be reasonable. Adityanath also said Holi stood for order over chaos. Adityanath urged people to burn corruption, anarchy and negativity like Holika.

Adityanath referred to Holi events in Mathura and nearby areas. Adityanath said lakhs of people, including tourists, joined celebrations peacefully. Adityanath named Vrindavan, Barsana and Nandgaon as key locations. Adityanath said Holi strengthened social cohesion and reduced bitterness. Adityanath extended greetings to people across the state. Gorakhpur MP and BJP leader Ravi Kishan Shukla attended the programme.

Ravi Kishan Shukla praised Adityanath’s recent foreign visit. Ravi Kishan Shukla said Adityanath secured major deals and MoUs worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore. Ravi Kishan Shukla linked the claim to a four-day visit to Singapore and Japan. Adityanath’s address mixed festival guidance with comments on security and development. The event ended with Holi greetings and a focus on orderly celebrations.
