As IndiGo continues its efforts to restore normal operations after widespread cancellations and delays, Naidu will brief the Lok Sabha on the situation. His update follows a similar response in the Rajya Sabha on Monday where he fielded several questions regarding roster rules, passenger refunds and the sudden scale of disruption. Naidu attributed the crisis to the airline's "internal system" and noted that IndiGo did not raise any red flags during a meeting held on December 1, just a day before cancellations intensified.

The situation has prompted Congress MP Manickam Tagore to submit a notice seeking suspension of business in the Lok Sabha, arguing that the government is accountable for what he described as unprecedented cancellations, steep airfare hikes and the "harassment" of passengers.

Rajya Sabha to Also Reflect on 150 Years of Vande Mataram

In addition to the SIR debate, the Rajya Sabha will hold a discussion marking 150 years of Vande Mataram. This comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a detailed reflection in the Lok Sabha, highlighting the song's historical resonance and anti colonial spirit. During the debate, the Prime Minister revisited its evolution and significance, while also referring to past political controversies involving the Congress and accusations of removing certain lines from the song in 1937.
