Rahul Gandhi Launches Two-Day Kerala Blitz, Targets 30 Assembly Constituencie

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has begun a high-intensity two-day campaign across Kerala, focusing on key constituencies in Central, South and North Kerala. The tour is designed as a tightly packed schedule of meetings, rallies and roadshows aimed at energising the United Democratic Front (UDF) cadre and amplifying the alliance’s welfare promises.

The campaign begins in the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram, where Gandhi holds a strategy meeting with senior Kerala Congress leaders. The meeting is meant to finalise campaign messaging and coordinate outreach efforts before the public events begin.

From there, the schedule moves into Central Kerala with a series of back-to-back rallies covering five key assembly segments:

• Rally at Adoor – the first public event of the day, where Gandhi addresses party workers and supporters.
• Rally at Pathanamthitta – continuing the campaign push in another crucial constituency.
• Rally and Roadshow at Puthupally – one of the most visible events of the day, combining a public meeting with a roadshow through the constituency.
• Corner reception at Kanjikuzhi – a smaller but strategically important interaction with local supporters.
• Rally at Athirampuzha – the final major event of the day, concluding the Central Kerala leg of the campaign.

By the end of the first day, Gandhi would have addressed multiple gatherings across five crucial assembly constituencies in the region.

The campaign then shifts northward on the second day. Gandhi is scheduled to visit six assembly constituencies in North Kerala, expanding the outreach beyond the Central and Southern parts of the state.

Two major roadshows are planned during this phase, where Gandhi will campaign alongside senior Congress leader K. C. Venugopal and other Kerala UDF leaders. These roadshows are expected to draw large crowds as the alliance seeks to project unity and momentum.

At every stop during the two-day tour, Gandhi and UDF leaders are highlighting the alliance’s proposed welfare guarantees. Among the key promises being promoted are:

• Free bus travel for women
• ₹3,000 monthly support for senior citizens

By the end of the tour, Gandhi is expected to have directly reached around 30 assembly constituencies through rallies, receptions and roadshows spanning Central, South and North Kerala. The UDF leadership is projecting the campaign as a major show of strength, expressing confidence that the alliance can build momentum toward a 100-seat victory in the state.
