Noida Sector 142 Murder: Woman’s Body Found in Dumping Yard, Hands and Legs Tied

Noida Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a young woman was discovered stuffed inside a bag at a dumping yard in Sector 142 on Saturday. Authorities believe she may have been killed elsewhere before being dumped at the site.

Locals had first spotted a suspicious bag among garbage piles and alerted police. When officers opened it, they found the woman-estimated to be between 22 and 25 years old-with her hands and legs tied. Burn marks were visible on her face, raising suspicion of torture prior to death.

A police team from Sector 142 station, along with senior officials and forensic experts, reached the spot and secured the crime scene. The body was taken into custody and sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause and time of death.

Investigators are now trying to trace how the body was transported to the dumping yard and whether any vehicle movement in the area corresponds with the suspected time of disposal. CCTV footage from nearby locations is being examined, and missing persons' reports are being scanned to help identify the victim.

Senior police officer Santosh Kumar confirmed that a special team has been formed to establish the woman's identity and initiate legal action. The case, reported on December 28, 2025, by Priyanka Kumari, remains under active investigation, with officials saying autopsy results and surveillance analysis will play a key role in determining the next steps.
