A vibrant glimpse of Uttarakhand's folk traditions was witnessed during the Holi Milan ceremony held at the Chief Minister's residence in Dehradun. Folk artists from Garhwal, Kumaon, Jaunsar, and the Terai regions presented traditional performances, creating a lively festive atmosphere.

Artists from the Jaunsar region performed the traditional Harul dance, while Holyar groups from Kumaon filled the surroundings with melodious Holi songs. The rhythmic beats of drums, manjira, and other traditional instruments resonated with folk music, adding colorful cultural energy to the celebrations.

During the visit, the Chief Minister inaugurated the fair at Maa Purnagiri Dham and shared details of ongoing development works in the temple area. Efforts are underway to modernize facilities such as parking, drinking water supply, and crowd management to ensure convenience for devotees.

The Chief Minister also participated in the Kali Kumaon Holi Rang Mahotsav and a Holi Milan ceremony in Lohaghat. Traditional music, folk performances, and enthusiastic crowds created a vibrant festive environment as Dhami interacted warmly with the public.

The Holi Milan event in Khatima witnessed a large turnout, turning the celebration into a symbol of public trust and support. Amid the beats of drums, colorful celebrations, and slogans of "Dhami Zindabad," people gathered in large numbers to celebrate the festival with the Chief Minister, reflecting a strong emotional connection between the public and their leadership.
