Govind’s brother Dheeraj Jha said Govind had three stab injuries on the chest. Dheeraj Jha alleged that two unknown people took Govind to a private hospital. Dheeraj Jha alleged they left Govind there. \"We were told he was lying outside for 15 to 20 minutes before he received any treatment,\" Dheeraj Jha alleged.
Dheeraj Jha said Govind had worked as a delivery agent for eight years. Govind’s wife Neeru said the last conversation happened at about 9.40 pm. Neeru said a later call came around 10.30 pm with the news of the stabbing. \"Later, I received a call around 10.30 pm, informing me that he had been stabbed during a fight,\" she said.
Police said the case was being investigated as a violent road rage incident. Officers said the accused remained unidentified and were still being traced. Govind’s death was confirmed at the hospital, while the other three injured men continued treatment. Police also repeated that misleading communal claims online would face strict action.
