Delhi Police Special Cell Apprehends Suspects With Alleged Ties To Pakistan's ISI And Terrorist Activities

The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested three individuals suspected of links to Pakistan's ISI and planned terrorist activities. The arrests highlight ongoing efforts to dismantle terror networks and ensure public safety in North India.

The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested three individuals suspected of having ties with Pakistan's ISI and a terrorist named Shehzad Bhatti. These suspects were captured from different states in North India, including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab. According to Additional CP, Special Cell Pramod Kushwaha, suspects have been identified as Hargunet Singh from, Vikas Praapati from Madh Pradesh, and Ar from Uttar Pradesh.

“They recently threw a hand grenade in front of the Gurdaspur City Police Station on the 25th. He executed the attack, and these same boys were involved in the incident and have been arrested,” stated Kushwaha. The suspects had plans for further attacks and had already conducted reconnaissance and videography of several locations, said Kushwaha.

Arrests and Investigations

The group was reportedly receiving instructions from Shehzad Bhatti, who managed operations from abroad. He recruited young individuals using social media and other contacts. This strategy enabled him to orchestrate terror activities remotely, as noted by the police. The suspects were allegedly under his direct command, further implicating Bhatti in the terror plot.

Kushwaha also mentioned that there are additional connections within this group. The police plan to share these links with the Punjab Police to take necessary actions and ensure the arrest of other involved individuals. This collaboration aims to dismantle the terror network effectively.
