What Is the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway?

The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is a modern, access-controlled highway stretching around 210-212 kilometres. It connects Delhi to Dehradun through key cities and districts.
The route begins from Akshardham in Delhi and passes through Ghaziabad, Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur, and Haridwar before reaching Dehradun.

A major portion of the expressway-about 135 kilometres-lies in Uttar Pradesh.

Toll Charges for Travellers

If you are travelling on this expressway by car, here is what you need to know about toll fees:

• One-way toll: ₹675
• Return journey (within 24 hours): ₹1010
• This means the return toll is reduced, with the second trip costing only about ₹335

Additionally, the first 18 kilometres from Akshardham to Loni Border in Delhi are toll-free, providing some relief to commuters.

Fully Automated Toll Collection

Toll collection on the expressway will be completely automated through FASTag, ensuring smoother and faster travel without long queues.

This system is designed to reduce congestion and improve efficiency at toll points.

Number of Toll Plazas and Interchanges

The expressway will have five toll plazas along the route.
