Hyderabad School Camps For Caste, Income Certificates: How To Apply, Full List Of Locations

The Hyderabad district administration has announced a targeted outreach programme in government schools to help students from Scheduled Castes (SC) communities obtain caste and income certificates. Officials say the initiative is intended to remove documentation hurdles that often delay access to welfare schemes.

Authorities believe easier access to these certificates will enable more eligible students to apply for both Pre-Matric and Post-Matric scholarship programmes without procedural delays.

Collector explains objective of initiative

Hyderabad Collector Harichandana Dasari said the plan focuses on making the process accessible within school premises so students and parents do not have to visit multiple offices.

According to her, "the camps will simplify the application process and ensure that students receive the required documents without difficulty."

The administration has also arranged coordination between tahsildars, departmental officials and MeeSeva Centres so verification and documentation can be completed at the same location.

Officials stated that revenue authorities will verify applications on site while MeeSeva operators will process digital submissions. The arrangement is expected to significantly reduce waiting time for certificates, which are mandatory for scholarship eligibility and several educational concessions.

The camps are being designed especially for families who face difficulties in navigating online applications or travelling to government offices during working hours.

Locations identified across the city

The administration has selected twelve venues across Hyderabad where the special drives will take place. All venues are government schools to ensure accessibility for students.

The locations include Moghulpura, Falaknuma, Chaderghat, Vijayanagar Colony, Ameerpet, Khairatabad, Musheerabad, Secunderabad, Himayatnagar, Nampally, Saidabad and Marredpally.

Officials expect the outreach to improve scholarship coverage among SC students and prevent dropouts caused by financial constraints.
