Hyderabad–Nanded Vande Bharat Train Proposed, Faster Rail Link Between Telangana And Maharashtra

A new Vande Bharat Express connecting Hyderabad and Nanded may soon become a reality, offering faster and more comfortable rail travel between Telangana and Maharashtra.

Hyderabad-Nanded Vande Bharat Likely to Cut Travel Time

The proposed Vande Bharat train is expected to run between Hyderabad and Nanded, potentially completing the journey in around three hours. This would make it much faster than many existing train services operating on the same route.

Railway officials believe that such a reduction in travel time will make rail travel more convenient for passengers while also encouraging more people to choose trains over road transport for this journey.

Officials believe that the new train could boost tourism and economic activity between Telangana and the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Pilgrimage travel to Nanded, which is an important religious destination, may also see an increase once the faster service becomes operational.

Railway authorities are currently working on the proposal, and the train could begin operations after final approvals and scheduling are completed.
