Sirai Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad In Vikram Prabhu's Tamil Film?

Vikram Prabhu's new film Sirai is an action thriller directed by Suresh Rajakumari. The film also has LK Akshay Kumar, Ananda Thambirajah, Anishma Anilkumar, Remya Suresh and others in the cast.

Produced by SS Lalit Kumar, this marks the second union of Vikram Prabhu after Taanakkaran. The movie has Justin Prabhakaran's music, Madhesh Manickam's cinematography and Philomin Raj's editing.

The movie was premiered for select journalists and movie influencers on Thursday. Well, it has garnered positive reviews.

Debutant director #SureshRajakumari has made a politically right film that gives us a ray of hope with brimming positivity.

Terrific performance by @iamVikramPrabhu, easily his best work in recent times, he got realistic heroic elevation that even mass films failed to give him. Also, the best intro scene ever for Vikram Prabhu. His performance is amplified by convincing razor sharp dialogues . His character tells that to help the needy you don't have to be an Inspector General or decorated posts in police department, even a head constable can do the needful within his capacity and power.

@lk_akshaykumar makes a solid debut. The way he cries will shake your conscience. He represents the voiceless who are behind the bars in this shady legal system. His romantic track with #AshimaAnilkumar is what connects us completely in the second half. Their scenes and lives give us a big hope. Ashima also makes a superb debut in Tamil.

Akshay should ideally win the best debut actor award in all leading awards next year if given based on true merits.

@directortamil77's story is moving, thought provoking and inspiring. His work experience with police force gives him the advantage to authentically portray the police procedures and thus gives an added advantage to his films.

@7screenstudio has a winner, they have produced many biggies featuring top stars but this little gem has become their best ever film.

@justin_tunes - What a score and such a lovely bunch of songs in the film.
